This product is a good idea in theory, but suffers from poor craftsmanship and materials. The wood is not spruce but pine. Most of the pieces were warped, so there was a great deal of force needed to make the holes line up. Plus, key pieces of wood (with the hole for screws) were the worst, splintered pieces. It works for now, but isn't really worth the $200 it cost (definitely not worth the "full price" of $350) , what with the back pain and splinters required to assemble. I don't know if it will ever be possible to disassemble and reassemble if I need to move it.

The product quality is bad, wood is cheap and way too much expensive for the kind of quality you get. For $240 its not worth, though its working for now. I would not recommend this at this price. You should buy something like this for not more than $100 in my opinion.

There is about 5 10 6 inches between the rather thin slats. I have a 4 inch thick fouton and
I could feel the slats. Luckily I had an old set of Ikea bed slats in the garage. Cut them to fit and
stapled them to the tape holding the other slats. I know it wasn't a lot of money, but come on...it was
light weight soft pine, put together with staples. Check out [...]. they have a much better product.
