so far, so good, June 1, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Intex Pillow Rest Classic King Airbed Kit (Sports) we ordered this bed to replace the serta air mattress that we originally ordered. the serta sucked so we tried this one. we've been sleeping on it since friday night (4 nights ago) and so far it's working out nicely (we couldn't even stand sleeping on the serta for one night but had to suffer for 6 nights). it hasn't lost a lot of air. we filled it once since friday. the only thing i don't like are the horizontal bumps on the top. they aren't the most comfortable but we purchased a mattress cover that helps. i think we'll also purchase some sort of mattress topper. we're planning on using this as a temporary bed for a few months. the size is perfect. it's a true king size.

It has been in service for about 2 months. About every 10 days to 2 weeks it gets a little soft. The built in pump very efficient. A touch of the switch and in less than 7 seconds the bed is back at optimum inflation.
Other more familiar name brands have had a service life of about 9 months. Time will tell how the Intex brand holds up.
